Hey you! I see you thank you for visiting my website! My name is Kiki Lara and welcome to Anavrin. A NWI stylist who specializes in all things blonding, color transformations, and hair extensions. Here’s a little background about me: I am the youngest out of 7 kids and have always had a love for the beauty industry ever since I was little! I graduated high school as a junior at 17 years old from Valparaiso high school with the goal of entering the cosmetology field. In start of this journey, I immediately attended Paul Mitchell: The School where this passion quickly molded into my purpose. After receiving my certification & license, I proceeded to work at a salon in NWI where I grew my knowledge and skill set for two years. I continue to specialize my skills by attending outside courses that teach new industry techniques and innovative methods, especially in the elements of hair color and extensions. Staying up to date on all the latest hair trends and styles allows me to take on whatever new idea you bring in. This unrivaled ambition has helped me become the caring, perfectionist, leading hair stylist that I am to this day. Over the past 3+ years, I’ve developed a passion for creativity, acquired a keen eye for details, honed my skills, and developed a reputation for delivering personalized hair services. Outside of my career, I am a vintage- loving collector which you will see lots of throughout the studio! During my free time, I love to go to antique stores and resale shops to collect pre-loved, storytelling pieces. I also am a cat lover! I have four at home who I absolutely adore. I’m sure you will hear lots about them, maybe even too much about them! At Anavrin Hair Studio I offer a variety of services, from blonding, all over colors, maintenance appointments, treatments, and haircuts! You can find more information on what I offer in the service menu. Anavrin is a safe place for you to express yourself in a judgement free zone. Anavrin is also located downtown Valpo on Lincolnway! The building has a lot of character, charm, and a compelling backstory which I can’t wait to tell you all about!
